Dear Valued Customer,
Together with Fonterra Brands New Zealand we have been working very hard on business continuity, to ensure all our customers have the products they need, quickly and safely. We want to assure you that our processing, and delivery activities are responding well to the increased demand as a result of COVID-19. We continue to keep a close eye on the situation as it develops. Our priority has been, and remains, people. We have already taken steps to help protect our people, customers and the broader communities. Although we need your help to make sure our measures are as effective as possible.
*** NEW DELIVERY PROCESS EFFECTIVE TUESDAY 24 MARCH 2020 ***
Please work with your delivery driver – there is a need for social distancing, and many of our teams are
contending with increased freight deliveries and changes to delivery processes (that are designed to keep you and them safe at this time).
– Driver will deliver your order in the normal manner.
– PLEASE NO HAND SHAKES OR ANY PHYSICAL CONTACT WITH OUR DRIVERS
– Driver will write the receivers name on the delivery form in front of the receiver along with the date and time of delivery and this will act as – legal proof of delivery until informed otherwise.
– If the recipient wishes to have a notation made around the consignment, i.e. for items short, damaged or out of temp, then they can ask the driver to record what message they want on the manifest and the driver will write this down before he leaves the delivery premises. He will show the recipient what has been written on the delivery form.
To reduce physical contact further all communication will be via email. Please utilise our digital and phone communication channels where possible to order, inform us of changes and to request information. If you haven’t received email communications from us in the last month or wish to add extra receivers please send your details to
firstname.lastname@example.org to keep our records up to date so we can keep you informed. Important information will also be displayed on the home page of our website www.anchormilktruck.co.nz.
As it stands, we anticipate we will be able to supply our customers as normal. We have additional capacity available as a contingency. If there are any changes to our business, we will let you know as a matter of priority and work with you to ensure there are minimal disruptions. We are continuing to work hard and diligently to do our part in ensuring New Zealand’s vital temperature controlled supply chains remain open during this crisis.
We also ask for your continued support in ensuring the above message is communicated across your business to all staff that will engage with our drivers.
